I've been exploring and I'm sure a tour guide could have showned me some short cuts. I understand that Web 2.0 is a way to communicate your thoughts, opinions or speech by using social networking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, and blogs.
I watched the You Tube, Did you know; Shift Happens. The future is here but not evenly distributed. Our students live in a digital world, altered by every-changing technology.
These digital students are:
goal-oriented
able to pursue multiple outcomes at the same time
tend to be multi-taskers
risk takers
open mindset of exploring new possibilities
In "A Whole New Mind" Daniel Pink states that in our emerging world of critical thinking, problem solving, and a deep level of information fluency we must used the "whole" mind.
